Facebook is offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits for up to 30,000 eligible small businesses in over 30 countries where they operate.


The program aims to help small businesses to keep their workforce going strong, cover operational and rent costs and connect with more customers.


They recently launched a Business Resource Hub for additional resources about how you can help your business prepare for and manage through disruptions like COVID-19.

Zoom


Zoom offers support during the COVID-19 pandemic. Zoom training resources are available on their website to help you transition to a remote work environment using Zoom. Comprehensive Guide on how to use zoom for training and for moving your in-person events to virtual ones.

Google 


Google announced an $800+ million commitment to support small- and medium-sized businesses, health organizations and governments, and health workers on the frontline of this global pandemic.


Their commitment includes a $200 million investment fund that will support NGOs and financial institutions around the world to help provide small businesses with access to capital. A $340 million in Google Ads credits available to all SMBs with active accounts over the past year and many more.


Google also rolled out free access to their advanced Hangouts Meet video-conferencing capabilities like larger meetings (up to 250 participants), live streaming and recording until July 1, 2020 enabling productivity for remote workers to be able to connect virtually with their communities and employees when they are unable to do so in person.

Whatsapp


Managing your business can be more challenging than usual during this time of heightened uncertainty and isolation, WhatsApp can help you stay connected with your customers and employees during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.


They recommend using the WhatsApp Business app, which is free to download, to best manage multiple questions, feature helpful information in your business profile and share details about your services in catalog.


WhatsApp Business app gives you the ability to provide regular updates on product availability, host remote consultations, make pickups and deliveries more efficient, take customers inside your store through virtual tour and stay connected to your employees.

GoToMeeting by LogMeIn


To help support the community and customers during the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), LogMeIn is providing free Emergency Remote Work Kits for Health Care Providers, Educational Institutions, Municipalities & Non-Profit organizations, and current LogMeIn customers.


Emergency Remote Work Kits provide everything you need for a seamless transition to a remote workforce including free, limited-time licenses of our meeting, webinar, remote access, and support solutions. An Account Executive will work with you to determine how we can best meet your needs.


They will allow current LogMeIn customers to expand their agreements with them to include GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar and other tools to cover your entire employee population for up to three months at no additional cost to your current subscription. They will also be offering assistance with deploying and training users who are new to remote working.

Loom

While Loom is used daily by all kinds of people and teams, not just the remote and distributed kind, their product is particularly useful to people who, for whatever reason, can’t be in the same room.

  • Remove the recording limit on the free plan (Basic) — what was 25 is now unlimited
  • 50% discount on for Pro subscriptions — what was $10/month is now $5/month

  • Loom Pro is now free for education.


They are committed to providing ongoing support, and to continuing to assess these changes as the situation evolves.

Google Ads


In addition to providing $340 million in ad credits, they also set up a fund that will support NGOs and financial institutions around the world to help provide small businesses with access to capital. This is in addition to the $15 million in cash grants Google.org is already providing to nonprofits to help bridge these gaps for SMBs. They are also providing $20 million in ad grants to community financial institutions specifically to run public service announcements on relief funds and other resources for SMBs.


The ad credits will be available to small and medium businesses, who advertise directly with Google or through partners, around the world with active accounts since Jan 1, 2019 and comply with all Google Ads T&Cs. You will be informed in the coming months through notifications within your Google Ads account. 


This Google Ads credit can be used at any point throughout the year and will expire on 31st Dec 2020. Any unused portion will be removed from Google Ads accounts.


These ad credits will be applicable across the Google Ads platform including Search, Display, and YouTube as well as all campaign types.

Slack


Slack is supporting all nonprofits and other organizations carrying out critical relief efforts during this time with free access to a Slack paid plan for three months. They are also offering free consultations to answer questions and share best practices for working remotely on their platform.


Paid plan features help support the work you do:

  • Unlimited app integrations to bring the tools you use every day right into Slack, like Google Docs or Zoom
